DeltArts is an exporter of fair trade Peruvian handicrafts and home decor products. We are committed to providing our customers with high quality products produced in a socially, culturally and environmentally responsible manner. Although we are based in Lima, the capital of Peru, most of our products are made by craftsmen and craftswomen in small communities in rural Peru. We focus on these communities in order to stimulate employment and alleviate poverty in the provinces, and thus reduce migration into Lima. Many poor people migrate to Lima in search of a better future, only to find more poverty and worse living conditions. As a result, Lima has more than doubled in size in the past 25 years, from 4.2 million inhabitants in 1981 to around 9 in 2006. We are currently working with over a hundred families.

We export large quantities at FOB (Callao) prices. Smaller quantities are exported at wholesale prices, which include shipping.
